Wood Cutting

We have been out in the woods gathering wood to heat our little cottage with through the winter. We bought permits to cut 5 cord of wood this year and Janet and I got it all in two days!

Here are some pictures of one of our loads and then there is a video clip of me cutting it up at home and stacking it in the wood shed.

Cave Falls Trip

We had so much fun with Vicky, Adessa and Jexten during their week here. Jexten turned 2 and we had fun with his party. The evening weather turned windy and cold, so we spent the evening inside playing with the toys, watching "Over the Hedge" and "Curious George". Jexten is hilarious. We laughed at his sayings and antics all week. Adessa is growing up and is such a beautiful girl with her big brown eyes and curly hair. Thanks for the memories.

Adessa found some really cool cars for his birthday. He loved them all.

Almost every sack had a car or truck in it. Jexten was pretty happy about that.

The first thing we did when Vicky, Adessa and Jexten came, was to go to the arena and ride horses. Jexten didn't want to get off. It was hot, but fun.

This is on our way to lower Palisades lake. We stopped at table rock to take a picture. About 2/3 way to the lake.

This is Moody Creek. About 2 miles to the east of us in the Big Holes. We saw a moose here too, but he ran off before we could get a picture.

Fun with Cody, Tricia, Wesley and Family

Wesley loved to swing. The last day he was with us, he sat in the swing about an hour quietly meditating looking at the sky, clouds, grass and trees. I thought he was going to sleep, but he never did. He loves underdoggies too!

Matthew and Wesley were looking a the penguins at the zoo. It was cute when Matthew put his arm around Wesley.

We stopped at the warm river on our way home from the bike ride. There was a bird there that couldn't fly. This is a once in a lifetime picture.

Matthew and Wesley had lots of fun at the splash park, especially teasing Grandpa!

We sure had a fun visit with Cody, Tricia and Wesley. I'm glad they had the chance to come to Rexburg to do some of the things they loved doing! Thanks for comming!
