Winter Fun

We have been enjoying some time with our loved ones this winter and ha been having loads of fun!

Thorson Christmas Party 2011

We went down Friday evening after school and stayed with Lance and Kara and their kids.  We had a good visit with them and in the morning Janet and I helped Lance put up some Christmas lights on their house.

Then we went down to the green house for the party and ate some delicious food and enjoyed a nice visit with much of the family.

And then....SANTA CLAUS came!!!!!

Matthew and Hailey & their mom and dad came to see us, and Matthew came in his bird costume, then we carved pumpkins!

Cement Work

We have been busy finishing our landscaping project we started a year ago.  We needed to pour a porch, steps, sidewalk and back patio.  Here are some before and after photos.  By the way it was 6 yards of cement, poured in 1 hour and finished in 2 hours more.

 Curt was jumping over the entire wet cement several times and Janet and I never saw it!  He can do that because he must be Super Man!  He sure works as hard as he plays though.

 Believe it or not, we got these ruts out  after the cement truck left.

 Janet was very happy with how it all turned out, which is the only opinion that matters to me.

 All done!  Wow, we were sure grateful Curt and Melissa helped us out!!!

 I am very happy how it all turned out too!

Conference Weekend

Day trip to Yellowstone

Janet and I took a little drive through Yellowstone this last Saturday and I didn't even bring my fly rod this time!  We had a great time and enjoyed the weather immensely!  Here are some pictures of the trip;

McCoy Creek

We just camped over at the south end of Palisades reservoir in a place named McCoy creek from Thursday through Saturday.  I did a lot of fishing, we rode our bikes and we went swimming too.
