Isaac and Sam's B-day visit

We celebrated these two boy's birthdays in one, on the President's day week end.  Isaac had his  Feb. 7th and Sam's will be on March 6th.  So we went down to Draper and had a great time with them and their family.  We had a fun party and then rode the TRAX and went to temple square!  Here are some pictures and some video.

Janet's Christmas Wishes

Janet said all she wanted for Christmas this year was for the staircase to be switched around and to have the kitchen opened up to the living room,..so...

 This was Christmas Eve, looking through the hole that used to be the staircase.

 Christmas day we put the new staircase together,...FUN!

 Here we cut the hole in the ceiling for head space as you ascend the stairs, notice the upstairs railing needed to be switched around too.

 The railing is switched around now, and the hole to access the stairs is sheet-rocked.

 We still need to put the banister in along the stairs, and some trim and finish work, but this is fully functional now.

Now look at what we did to the kitchen wall!!!!

 Curt helped us a lot through-out the whole project.  Thanks Curt!

 I really am working hard here!  Even if it looks like I'm just playing around.

 We had to re-route these switches and outlet wires that are hanging where the wall used to be, too.

 Notice the old stair access hole in the ceiling, it got closed in too.

 All done, and so nice! Janet is really happy with it all.

More progress on our addition!

The weather has been so good for us,..and lately turned off a little colder so we hurried to finish the exterior more.  We will probably work through the winter on the interior.  Here is our progress to date.
